Mann… and Wife In Concert

Mann… and Wife, an “engaging” new musical, tells the story of Henry Mann, a starry-eyed 32-year-old writer who discovers that the love of his life has met someone new and is about to get married. What’s worse, he has been invited to her wedding! What follows are Henry’s frantic attempts to find a woman he can take as his date – a potential future wife – to prove to his ex-fiancée (and the world) that he too is ready to move on.

Based on the novel Nine Wives by Dan Elish (which was the former title of the musical), Mann… and Wife features music and lyrics by Douglas J. Cohen, winner of the Richard Rodgers, Noel Coward, and Fred Ebb Awards, whose musicals include The Gig and No Way To Treat A Lady, and lyrics and book by Dan Elish, co-book writer of the Broadway musical 13.
