Barrett Weed originated the role of Veronica Sawyer in Heathers: The Musical, which got her nominated for a Lucille Lortel award and a Drama Desk award. She lost both awards to earthbound goddesses Ruthie Ann Miles and Jesse Mueller, which is cooler than being nominated in the first place. Barrett was also Nadia in the 2012 revival of Bare and Denise in Found at The Atlantic Theatre Company. She is on the original cast recordings of Heathers and Fugitive Songs.
