COVID-19 Safety Information For Visitors
Feinstein’s/54 Below is excited to welcome artists, staff, and audiences back to “Broadway’s Living Room.”
We are committed to providing an unforgettable experience for all guests, staff and artists in a safe and healthy environment. To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, we have developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan, which follows the most current guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the New York State Department of Health and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) related to COVID-19. We’re also grateful to the restaurant community in their sharing of wisdom and best practices.
Please note that all guidelines and policies are subject to change in accordance with government mandates and recommendations.
In addition to creating new policies to make our guests, performers and staff safer when visiting our space, we have made some physical modifications to our venue.
Below are some of the basic safety measures we will be implementing:
Please note: Our COVID-19 safety rules at Feinstein’s/54 Below have now changed based on the Key to NYC rules for the city. As Feinstein’s/54 Below does not offer outdoor dining, effective immediately, there will no longer be any exceptions made for unvaccinated patrons over the age of 12 or on-stage participants of any age.
We require that all on-stage participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attending a performance at Feinstein’s/54 Below. The date of your performance must be at least two weeks after your final shot.
All persons entering the club must provide proof of vaccination at the door. Proof of vaccination can be your actual card, a photo of your card, the Excelsior Pass, or proof provided by a foreign government. In addition, all on-stage participants must provide proof of vaccination at the time their show is contracted, or at the time they join the performance.
Children under the age of 12 wishing to attend a show in the audience must present proof of a negative PCR/NAAT test taken within seventy-two hours of entry or proof of a negative antigen test taken within six hours of entry. Please notify the box office at 646-476-3551 at least 72 hours in advance of your performance if your party includes someone under the age of 12. Individuals under 12 must wear a face mask, except when eating and drinking. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to be part of performances at this time.
Due to the recent change in CDC guidelines, we ask that guests wear their masks while not actively eating or drinking. Staff members will remain masked at all times. Artists will be permitted to remove their masks on stage during the performance.
Complimentary masks will be made available at the door as needed.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
In consultation with our Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) experts, we have worked to find the best solution for our space to meet government requirements for indoor dining. Our venue has two Aerus Pure and Clean oxidation and ionization units. Utilizing high intensity UVC light, these units are proven to remove airborne and surface contaminants.
Air circulation has been modified to ensure an exchange of inside and outside air.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
Hand sanitizer dispensers with a sixty percent or greater alcohol content have been installed in our entrances, outside restrooms and several other locations on our premises. These will be maintained by the sanitation attendant on duty.
As we require proof of vaccination for all guests, artists and staff, we are permitted by government and CDC regulations to operate at full capacity with our traditional cabaret-style seating.
We have installed Lucite safety barriers between certain seating areas in the dining room to keep our guests safe.
Signs have been posted inside the restrooms reminding guests of proper handwashing procedures.
When purchasing tickets through our website or via the phone, guests must reserve a specific arrival time. There will be a limited number of reservations taken for each arrival time to help control guest flow into the stairwell and lobby. Reservations for both the 7:00 pm and 9:45 pm shows will be in fifteen-minute increments.
Reservations for the 7:00 pm show will begin at 5:30 pm, with the last reservations at 6:30 pm. Reservations for the 9:45 pm show will begin at 9:00 pm, with the last reservation at 9:30 pm.
Doors for the later show will not open until 9:00 pm, allowing the staff time to sanitize the club between shows.
Walk-ins will only be accepted at the discretion of management.
Arriving for a Show
Guests should arrive at the club between five and ten minutes, but not more than fifteen minutes, prior to their reservation. Management will make special accommodations for guests with disabilities who may need more time to enter the club. If possible, we request that guests notify the box office of any such need for special assistance at the time of ticket purchase by calling 646-476-3551.
Guests who have exhibited any of the symptoms of COVID-19 within seventy-two hours of their reservation must call our box office at 646-476-3551 for help rescheduling tickets.
Feinstein’s/54 Below encourages all guests to download a digital copy of the menu to their personal electronic devices/phones. The menu will be easily accessible from the Feinstein’s/54 Below website and updated daily to reflect any specials. A link to the menu will be emailed to guests upon purchase of tickets and included in the reminder sent twenty-four hours prior to their visit. This link will also be posted at the club entrance, in addition to a QR code.
Printed menus will be available for guests who are unable to download or use electronic menus.
Guests who do not wish to dine in the club may order items to-go to fulfill the $25 food and beverage minimum and enjoy their meal at home.
