In Mr. Guettel’s own words: “I disappeared in 2007. Into the studio. Into five new shows: a fairy tale adventure, an invisible man, a love story, a thing about wanting to be good called Millions and an opera for the devil. With an insanely tight little band led by Kim Grigsby, with the incomparable singers Steven Pasquale and Whitney Bashor at my side, I’ll sing from these new shows. Steven and Whitney will sing from the old ones since that material is way too high for me now. I’m thrilled to try out new songs at 54 Below with such a brilliant group of musicians. I hope I’ll see you in February. I’m so looking forward.”
