Alexis Michelle, one of the last queens standing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 9, returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below!
“Breathe in… I. Breathe out… Am.” This simple meditation has seen Alexis Michelle through the most exciting and challenging year of her career. From the exhilaration of being thrust into the reality tv spotlight to the struggles of the social media age, Alexis has lived it all and is stronger for it. Through a repertoire of songs made famous by divas like Liza, Madonna, Dolly, and Gaga and some of her own signature tunes, “Thank You for Being a Friend” and “Ladies Who Lunch,” Alexis shares the experiences that have challenged her and have made her brave enough to say “ALEXIS, I️ AM!”
Alexis will be joined on April 18 by special guests Kim David Smith, called the “David Bowie of cabaret” by Broadway World and a “male Marlene Dietrich” by The New York Times, and Christina Sajous, who recently appeared in NBC’s “Jesus Christ Superstar Live.”
