Kenia, the Brazilian vocalist who received worldwide acclaim for her recording debut on trumpeter Claudio Roditi’s Red on Red makes her Feinstein’s/54 Below debut in Kenia Sings Brazilian Jazz!  Featuring songs from her latest CD release including “On We Go,” as well as a re-imagined take on Adolfo’s “Pretty World,” “For Donato,” and a crowd-pleasing, signature version of Gershwin’s “Summertime.”  This concert marks the 1st Brazilian Jazz Concerts Series by Brazilian Music Foundation in New York City.  Kenia represents the best of Brazilian jazz and contemporary music with a superb band that grooves and swings.  Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind party with this one-of-a-kind performer!
