Three-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Ragtime, Passion, Kiss Me Kate) returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below on New Year’s Eve with her hit show Make Your Own Kind of Music, featuring some of the most beloved songs from the 60’s and 70’s and some other very special musical choices for the last night of the year. The New York Times raves that on opening night of her show, Marin “set off sparks…the roughly chronological program follows the development of Ms. Mazzie’s musical tastes from bubble gum to growling guitar heroes, with an occasional flashback (an insinuating voice-and-percussion rendition of ‘Begin the Beguine’).” This is a not-to-be-missed show on a very special evening.
