Former child “star” and current NYC-based award-winning writer and performer Tim Realbuto (Ghostlight, The Emperor’s Club) returns to 54 Below in an all-new show entitled Tim Realbuto: Alone (With Plenty of Help).

In this deeply personal, poignant and hilarious show, Tim will tell the (mostly*) true story of how he grew up in show business and went from former child actor to the adult writer of the popular new Broadway-bound musical Ghostlight. Some of Tim’s famous Broadway friends will help him along the way, playing different characters from his past and sometimes (when things get too hard), even playing Tim himself. Expect an evening filled with plenty of well-known tunes, originals, celebrity prank calls, contests with gift giveaways, diva impressions, and guest appearances from popular stars of stage and screen, including Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), Jenna Leigh Green (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Wicked), Joy Franz (Into the Woods, Pippin), Jason Gotay (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Bring It On), Natascia Diaz (Seussical, The Threepenny Opera), Kimberly Faye Greenberg (Danny and Sylvia), Derek Klena (Dogfight; The Bridges of Madison Country), Drama Desk Award Nominee Christina Bianco (Forbidden Broadway; NEWSical the musical), and Laurissa Romain (Broadway’s South Pacific; The Voice; co-star opposite Chris Rock in the upcoming film Finally Famous). Also featured will be Julie D’Moure, Justin Anthony Long, Anna Louise Morse, and Nicholas Yenson. Conceived and written by Tim Realbuto, with musical direction by Julianne B. Merrill.

*only if the audience starts looking bored, then he’s going to lie his ass off.
